4ward Sciences Executive VP: Casey Myers

My 22 year career in the Navy included 17 years of sea duty in amphibious ships and destroyers, plus 2 tours in-country in Vietnam serving in both I and IV Corps. In 1972 I was one of the first sailors selected for Admiral Zumwalt’s Personnel Exchange Program and I subsequently served 2 years on a Canadian destroyer. I spent my last Navy tour on the staff of Naval Special Warfare Group One in Coronado, the headquarters command for US Navy SEALs.

After my career in the US Navy I went to work as a systems engineer at CSC, Comptek Research and Questech, which was later bought out by CACI. Much of this work was in support of the development of new and improved US Navy C4ISR and Tactical Data Link Systems. After a number of years in the engineering side of the business I moved over to the Business Development side. I eventually led the CACI Navy Business Development team as a Vice President. I then moved on to a smaller company to develop a backlog of new business in their pipeline. When this company was sold in 2006, I joined with Chris Brown and Bob Johnston to start 4ward Sciences.

I hold an MBA from National University. I am married to Judy Myers and we reside in Alpine, California.
