4ward Sciences Recruiter: Angelo Olivo

I spent 21 years in the US Navy as a Data Processor. Of significance during my time in the service: I taught programming at the Fleet Combat Training Center Pacific, San Diego, California, and I was the ADP Officer on board USS Piedmont and USS Okinawa.

After my Navy career I worked for several companies in San Diego. I worked for CSC as a programmer and software design engineer on several projects. I worked for Hughes Aircraft on the tactical Data Link C2P project, where I worked as test engineer. I also worked on THAAD missile project, where I developed the interface between the Ground Based Radar and the missile. I worked for Logicon testing the Tactical Data Links.

I worked as a project manager for ISS (now CACI), where I was responsible for the company’s business in southern California, Arizona, and southern Nevada. I was responsible for ISS business with the US Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles Division, USMC 29 Palms PMO Antiterrorism/Force Protection project, and several US Navy projects at Naval Base Port Hueneme. My duties also included business development, proposal writing, and providing technical input as required.

I have known Chris Brown and Casey Myers for many years. I worked with Casey at CSC and ISS and worked for Chris when he was hired as VP for ISS prior to the CACI purchase.

My current responsibilities for 4ward Sciences are recruiting quality people for direct hire to 4ward Sciences as the companies business grows. Soon, we plan to offer our services to other companies in the industry to assist them to fill vacant positions on their staff as their business also grow.

My wife and I live in Fallbrook, California, and we enjoy camping, boating, desert riding, and going to the theatre. We have 4 grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls, who we enjoy spending as much time with as possible. I recently retired, but after a conversation with Chris I enthusiastically agreed to help establish the recruiting division of his new company.
